I couldn't believe that was me in the mirror!
I kept asking myself...who is this fat guy staring back at me?

I knew I was getting a little "pudgy" but seeing myself in the mirror like that was shocking.

My "muffin top" spilled over my pant waistline like the blob trying to gobble up my upper thighs and the button on my pants felt like it was going to rip off at any moment like a cannon waiting to go off!
My chest sagged and the back fat on my upper arms hung down like water filled ballons.
My double chin looked like it was about to give birth to another chin.
I had to give a business presentation the next morning and I felt absolutely horrible. I hated the way I felt and worse, I hated the way I let myself go.
As I stared into the mirror and kept asking myself...

"When did this happen?"
I started to panic.
I honestly didn’t want to give that presentation because I was ashamed.
Ashamed not only because of the way I let myself go but because of the way I felt.

The hit my self-confidence took (from becoming overweight) was the worst part because I’m a pretty happy-go-lucky and outgoing guy but in that moment, my confidence was shaken.
That scared me.
I had zero energy. I tired easily and my joints and body ached all the time (from being overweight).
